Ginger is the usual go-to for morning sickness, but I literally tried everything and nothing worked

I recently heard from an anaesthetist that clinical alcohol wipes, so clinell or similar, works a treat on nausea

It’s because of a specific type of alcohol - sticking your nose in a bottle of vodka doesn’t have the same effect

I’m sure you’ve already read/been told that keeping something in your stomach can just settle it a bit but I really did find that to be true. I found that raisins helped me just get my blood sugar up a little and to start with I’d literally be forcing them down one by one very slowly, but after a few I’d start to feel a little better. I grazed on them throughout my whole first trimester.
I also found really juicy granny smith apples helped, the juice made my mouth feel less gross and they did seem to settle my stomach a bit.

If you have the money try private acupuncture. From £50 a session. Can fux your sickness right away.

Fix.

Nothing worked for me but medication helped to take the edge off of it.
Try not to let yourself get dehydrated through as that can make you feel worse. Some mornings I could barely sip water but found that sipping through a straw or letting an ice cube melt in my mouth were tolerable. Very weak homemade ice lollies were okay too.

I hope you find something that works for you, it's an awful feeling.

Cyclizine was the only thing that made my first pregnancy somewhat manageable. The sickness really is debilitating and you have my sympathy. I struggled through it for 9 months.

I'm pregnant with DC #2 and pleasantly surprised that the morning sickness hasn't been too bad. I was really dreading it after #1.

I really found that eating small meals often helped so much!! Even a cracker or plain biscuit helped me. I got some ginger oatcakes that helped, with the cracker aisle. And eating what you fancied too when you did feel hungry

I should add to my comments above about raisins and apples that I was also on cyclizine and that was the main help!

Ice lollies

I was fobbed off by my GP the first time and made to feel bad about taking medication while pregnant but I really needed it. With my second it started one afternoon and by midnight I was feeling awful- I rang the ante-natal ward at our local hospital- they were amazing, I went straight in and was put on a drip to rehydrate and then given medication. They see it all the time and weren’t phased at all, I wish I’d gone through them with my first rather than the nurses/GPs who don’t have the most up to date advice.
Personally ginger etc made absolutely no different.
Good luck, it’s horrendous isn’t it.
