Bleeding 4+5 and nothing on scan

Hi! I’m nearly 5 weeks pregnant and have had heavyish, period type bleeding for almost 3 days. Dull cramping but nothing major. Pregnancy tests still all showing a strong positive.
I was internally scanned today but they saw no signs of pregnancy :( this could be due to a miscarriage, possible ectopic or too early. Does anybody have experience of this and something showing on rescan a bit later?
They have done bloods today and a repeat in 48 hours and going from there.
They also told me during the ultrasound I have a heart shaped womb, ive never been told this before with my daughter but apparently from what ive read you can bleed from the side the baby isn’t growing on?
I’m clutching at straws and praying it will be ok but realistically with the blood loss I know I shouldn’t be. Does anybody have any similar experiences?

Just to let everybody know I’ve sadly had the news my bloods haven’t risen and I had a negative test this morning so I have miscarried :( x

Morning ladies.
So Glad I’ve found this thread.
So I think I’m 4+6, did a pregnancy test at 3+5 negative, then thought I had my period last Thursday - Monday and then pink/red spotting from Monday untill today.
I took a test yesterday as wondered why I was still
Bleeding.
And it was positive!
But I’m just hopeful in thinking that if I was negative before the bleeding - and now positive after the bleeding - it’s got to be ok hasn’t it?!
I’ve booked a private scan fir next Sunday at 6 weeks. This is so nerve racking.
Never bled at all with my little boy x

Hey, Iv never bled with my previous 2 boys but have with this one and trust me it was a scare !! Have you had any pains ? Sounds like implantation bleeding to me ....

@Amypowel657 nothing horrendous just like dull period pains 🤷‍♀️
So anxious it’s horrible x

@Jhodd my bleeding was heavy like a very heavy period so if you’re just spotting I would say try not to worry too much and I hope it’s good news for you x

Dull period pains are common in the first trimester try stay positive you will hopefully get reassurance on your scan x

Hello ladies after seeing a heart beat a week ago today I have sadly had a miss carriage :(

I lost mine at 5 +3 (today) , the bleeding just never stopped and I had a negative pregnancy test this morning.
