Hi, I'm 29wks 3days with baby #2. I've not experienced this type of weird pain/tender feeling in my left crotch it doesn't go. I went shopping yesterday and it just felt like i had pulled a muscle. Has anyone else had this before or should i ring my mv? Thanks if anyone can help xx

I’m just coming up to 28 weeks and have have the same problem! I think mine is my adductor muscles. I have a physical job so think that’s the cause of mine.

How long have you had yours for? I'm a senior carer but have been moved to the office for safer measures so not really doing much apart from desk work. Baby is kicking away nicely so i know its nothing serious was just more curious really

Since the end of last week. It improved over the weekend when I just rested but is back again now I’ve been working. I was a bit concerned it could be a sign of SPD but think it’s just a muscle strain.

Hopefully it is just muscle strain, esp with everything still growing. Im back in work tomorrow so I'll see how i get on. Looking forward to mat leave now

I had this on and off between 20-30 weeks and then suddenly some varicose veins popped out on the left side of my labia 😢
I googled it - vulvar variscosities… apparently numbness, pain, aching and tenderness are really common.
I’m hoping they go away post partum!

It sounds like pelvic girdle pain (PGP). This can manifest itself all around the pelvic area from lower back to hips to crotch and everywhere in between. You can mention it to your midwife and in theory you could be referred for physio but my midwife told me frankly there wasn't much point in referring me because our service only really treats the most severe cases (and for context I'm 30 weeks and my symptoms started around 20 weeks and sound significantly worse than yours). I did see a private physio as a one-off who gave me some advice and exercises to do and I bought a pregnancy support belt off her too as my midwife also recommended this. I take occasional paracetamol when the pain is too much to manage.
