Sorry if this seems a bit dramatic I worry a lot and more so now I’m pregnant!

In my 2nd trimester, haven’t felt too bad (apart from severe morning sickness in 1st) but now the past week I’ve had bad headaches, been exhausted, felt sick constantly, had no appetite, been sick and trapped wind!

I’m just panicking that I’ve got something wrong with me and worrying about my baby

Did anyone else have periods of feeling generally unwell? I’m just really worried I want my baby to be okay and not unwell

Sorry you're struggling. Those sound like normal pregnancy symptoms to me - maybe one to discuss with your midwife if you're concerned?

Is this your first baby?

Have you had your blood pressure checked? Sounds like BP +/- urine dip would be a good idea. Hope you feel better.

The answer is always yes. Trust your instinct. We can't feel how you feel but if you think you should see a doctor, go see a doctor.

Thank you everyone. It is my first pregnancy! Spoke to a friend who reassured me it’s pregnancy symptoms

My midwife is off at the minute and not answering phone :( and I don’t have another appt for a few weeks which is why I might try and speak to a GP because I can make an appointment tomorrow

@Greybeardy I did a few weeks ago! However I’ve noticed I’m a bit more dizzy too which has made me think potentially BP related!

I would call midwife or pregnancy unit. They are very typical symptoms and we all have bad days. However, Over worrying or not the reassurance they give it worth it to stop you stressing. I always worry I am bothering them but anytime I phone they put me at ease and reassurance is always welcome! Your hospital should be 24/7 if you have any major concerns anyway. Typically I got dizzyness and really bad headaches at 14 weeks for a while but only on a weekend so had to call the hospital lines - feels annoying but better to check in
Better to be safe than sorry as they say!

Sounds pretty normal to me. To be honest I wouldn't use the GP for something like this unless you really can't get hold of MW.
Do you have a number for the community team or triage? Someone should be available whilst yours is off. Have a look on your Trust's website, although mine has it in my notes Smile

Hope you feel better soon.
