Flying while pregnant

I’m due to fly tomorrow to visit my family abroad, particularly ailing grandparents who I haven’t seen in ages because of the pandemic. I’m currently 16 weeks, will be 18 when I fly home, and just wondering if anyone has any tips about how to make flying more comfortable? The flight is about 7 hours and the way home is a night flight so am particularly keen to try to get some sleep if I can. TIA!

Get some stockings!
Drink lots of water and get up and walk up and down regularly.

I flew to the US at the same stage in my first pregnancy. Just drink plenty of water and try and get up and walk round the cabin from time to time.

On short haul flights I was getting regular nose bleeds (I flew up to 28 weeks a couple of times a month), but the long haul one was fine weirdly.

Definitely get the support socks / stockings! You can buy them at the airport. Otherwise your entire legs will be puffy for about a day after the flight. As others said, lots of water and walking about even during the night flight. I find the pillows you blow up provide more neck support for sleeping. Eye mask and noise-cancelling earphones are also great. But realistically you need to get up and walk about every two hours so you won’t be able to get much sleep anyway I’m afraid.
