Has anyone experienced insomnia while pregnant

I can't sleep for more than 3 hours at a time. Tonight's been the worse I got maybe 2 hours and all the children will be up soon. Has anyone dealt with this? How did you get rid of it? Im scared that if I don't fix this before baby comes I'm screwed. I'm already miserable enough as it is. I just want to be able to function enough for all my children.

Yes, pregnancy insomnia is a thing. I didn't have it ask the way through, it was on and off. I found eating something off I woke up helped. I'd either have a banana or hot chocolate and I'd get back to sleep quicker. DD is my first so I didn't have other DC to think about but I was working and was so tired.
I hope you get some sleep soon.

Meant to say all the way through

Yes, both pregnancies. It wasn't too bad with the first as I started napping every afternoon once I was on mat leave (after a bleeding scare at 35 weeks I was taking it easy) but it was horrific with the second. I ended up starting mat leave a bit early and decamping to my parents as my lovely mum was happy to look after the toddler while I slept in the afternoon so that I wasn't completely non-functioning by the time no 2 arrived. Sorry - sympathy but not solutions!

@Christmas21 Thank you. I'll try a hot tea. I'm 7months pregnant with my first DD and I've had it since 4/5 months and my appetite this pregnancy has been so strange. Im hungry but I want nothing and the little snacks I do eat turn disgusting as i eat them. Then i have to get up again for another snack a little while later.

@OhForGoodnessSake1 Thanks anyway. Did you improve once you gave birth? I'm hoping I'm just so tired i pass out as soon as baby does. I'll really have no time to waste then.
