I'm pregnant! But what now?

I just found out that I am pregnant. It wasn't planned but I couldn't be happier! I am just struggling because I haven't been able to concentrate at work. I started a new job recently and feel that I am not putting my all in and my work is suffering. I'm also feeling sick all the time which is distracting too, I can't sit still at my desk. I just wondered if anyone had any advice for the first month of pregnancy? My GP won't talk to me until I am 7 weeks so just looking for a little early advice from experienced mums :)

Congratulations! I'm not an experienced mum but am a couple of months on from you. The first couple of months after finding out is hard work and if you don't want to tell work yet (understandable) then all you can do is make sure you are looking after yourself as much as possible.
Take folic acid and vitamin D supplements, frequent snacks, plenty of fluids, and if you are too sick to do your work then have a sick day. You are pregnant for only a small majority of your working life so don't feel guilty about putting you and baby first if you need to.

Congratulations!

Folic acid and vitamin D as @SouthwestSis said. You actually don't need to see a GP either. Find the local hospital that you wish to give birth in online and locate their maternity page. There you can self- refer. After a couple of days a midwife should ring you to get some of your medical history and then you'll have a booking appointment with a midwife between 8-10 weeks and a set of bloods done too.

Thank you! And congratulations to you too!

I am taking a pregnancy support supplement that has all these things will this be sufficient or do I need to take extra folic acid and vitamin D? I'm still exercising as normal - according to the NHS website that's fine too. Sorry for all the questions this is why I wanted to talk to someone lol. I can't book a midwife at my local hospital until I am at least 7 weeks.
