How do you get comfortable in bed for reading? Is there a magic position I'm missing?

I love to read in bed at night, but am finding that I am so uncomfortable it just isn't possible. I can't breathe if I lie on my back, but the bump gets in the way if I lie on my side.

It is making me very cross (29 weeks btw).

prop yourself up with approx 20,000 pillows. Still won't be totally comfortable, but it's the best I've found...

Get spare duvet and lounge on it, lying on side, with lots of pillows for head, like a Roman at a banquet.

I found a L shaped pillow very useful

Lying on your side with a pillow or two in your back and one in front with your bump on - pile about 4 up behind your head and snuggle down.....am pretty sure that's how I used to do it.

like this

described as V shape rather than L shape

v shaped pillow also handy for sitting up in bed doing night feeds once baby arrives

Will try these ideas tonight.

I have a v-shaped pillow from last time, but haven't found it helpful so far. It might be too big (Blooming Marvellous bf pillow).

Thanks!
