Pump breast milk better?

Hello everyone I just wanted any advice or opinions on how mothers out there that decided to pump their breast milk rather then breast feed have found it and if it's any easier?

Thank you for your messages everyone it's been really helpful especially with my baby boy being my first you are pretty thrown into the deep end and a lot to learn! Sounds like if I can breast feed it seems a lot easier but everyone's experiences different 😊

The worst is when you spend an hour pumping and knock it all over

I pumped for six months rather than breastfeeding as I found latching painful - it was the total opposite of a bonding experience!
I had a double pump and watched a lot of subtitled catch up tv on my laptop. Baby got used to sleeping through the whirr as I had better supply sat next to the Moses basket. Much confusion caused in baby groups when asked if I was breast or bottle feeding...
