So I know it's all part of being pregnant but this is my second I'm 6 weeks and the nausea of is awful this time. It's all day and it's stopping me being able to do normal things. I'm sick at least once a day and feel on the edge all day. I've got tablets from the dr that didn't help so been prescribed another to try that I can pick up today. Anyone got any other tips?

This time ginger or mint isn't touching it either :(

Also keep going shaky and just want to feel a little more normal

Honestly I would just keep trying safe prescriptions from gp until something hits the spot, it's awful I got terrible morning sickness and none of the 'home' remedies touched the sides.
Eat little and often, it's worse when you're hungry too!

Have you tried to eat dry foods, like crackers etc? I didn't suffer with physical sickness at the early stages of my pregnancy but I did feel nausea for a good few weeks (felt like I was going to be sick at any moment but never was!) and bland dry foods always seemed to help me. As PP's say, try and eat little and often and drink lots of water to stay hydrated - Especially in this heat! Hope you are feeling better soon Flowers

Acupuncture - there are quite a few special points for nausea, just go to one who's a fertility specialist and works regularly with pregnant women. My one treats people with HG, it's cumulative so you need to do a couple sessions at least.

Magnesium oil at night.

A couple drops of squeezy lemon on the tongue or smelling the lemon juice when you feel really sick.

You can buy anti nausea wrist bands. Also used for travel sickness.

I sympathise and don't wish to be negative, but nothing in particular worked for me. I tried my best to keep hydrated, but liquids were (and still are) more difficult for me to handle than solids. I just tried not to run on empty, as an empty stomach seemed to make it worse. Easier said than done when it's difficult just putting something in your mouth. Thanks
