Week 4 bleeding don't know what to do

I've now done three positive pregnancy tests (the third test the blear blue tone that prints text instead of line just to make 100% sure it was a positive! It said 1-2 weeks pregnant yesterday)

Since yesterday evening I've been bleeding, pretty much every time I wipe. It's dark red blood, and pretty heavy IMO not just a small little bit of pink or brown when I wipe it's proper blood.

I had a miscarriage once before so am devastated and it's fair to say it's a miscarriage but the doctors are closed and pregnancy units do not sure what to do.

I REALLY don't want to go to a and e and what can they do anyway?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I can't have a scan at four weeks and a miscarriage can't be stopped but every article I read says seek medical advice ASAP if you see bleeding anytime in pregnancy.

Has this happened to anyone before? If so what was the outcome?

A&E can’t do anything for you.
(Unless very heavy bleeding & unmanageable pain)
It’s just a case of see what happens, take pain relief and stay close to a loo, home comforts around you and wait it out.

They wouldn't be able to do anything no unfortunately. Except for scan you to check the location of the pregnancy, or look to see whether there is a viable pregnancy and something else causing the bleeding such as a fibroid.

If you don't have any signs of ectopic pregnancy then it's fine to just wait it out and continue at home. Just be aware of the signs of ectopic pregnancy and also for signs of an infection, as these things would need urgent medical attention.

It might be worth just making sure you make contact with someone so that this loss is on your medical records just in case you do have one more, as it sometimes needs 3x confirmed miscarriages to be referred to a recurrent miscarriage clinic, which enables you to have investigation into the causes as well as extra care such as an early scan in future pregnancies. I obviously hope you don't have a third miscarriage, but if you do, it's helpful to have that extra support and care for subsequent pregnancies.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Thanks so much to both of you. I figured just as much. I shall just wait and see what happens x x
