Anyone got pregnant after covid jab ?

Hello!!

Anyone got their BFP after getting fully vaccinated?

I received my invite to get my first jab but im so scared of possible infertility issues as no one really tested that during the trials

Hi op I had my 2nd jab in March and got Pregnant in April, currently 37 weeks. I ovulated for the first time in months after the Covid Jab so I think it somehow helped or a weird coincidence.

Someone I know of has had some bad news about their baby and the mum to be had vaccine about 2 months before she got preg. Could be a coincidence but it made me worried.

Had IVF 4 weeks after my first jab, and got a BFP after 5 failed cycles!

Had my second jab at 12 weeks, and booster at 37 weeks

The PP who mentioned she's ovulated after the jab, I've heard similar anecdotal evidence that post-jabs lots of people have unexpectedly got pregnant- in a 'I didn't think it was going to happen, we've been trying to long' way.
Who knows- it's probably completely unrelated!

Did anyone get pregnant one or 2 months after having 2nd dose and had delivered a healthy baby?
Second doses only started in April for the priority groups, so someone getting pregnant one or 2 months later would not have reached full term yet…

Non-vulnerable groups of childbearing age would have been getting their second doses over the summer, so it will be next year before those who got pregnant a couple of months later are giving birth

@sw1amp the lady im reffering to is yet to have her baby but she is towards the end of her 2nd trimester at the moment.

Yes. Second jab in August and got pregnant in September. Now 14 weeks and so far so good. My neighbour had her second jab in July and is 18 weeks, all good. In fact, now I come to think of it, I know of 3 others who have definitely been double jabbed and since got pregnant

Yes. Had my second jab 1st week of May mid way through and IVF cycle and got bfp 2 weeks later. Unfortunately that pregnancy did end in an early miscarriage but we did another cycle in August and got another bfp which has (so far) stuck. Currently 18 weeks and all looks good and I had the booster at 15 weeks. Given we needed IVF in the first place (and had a number of attempts which were unsuccessful before the jabs) I really don't think the jabs had a negative impact on my fertility (in fact perhaps even the opposite!!).

I am 40 so was expecting a long TTC duration to begin with.

I have my second vaccine mid July and feel pregnant a couple of weeks later.

It's almost like it made me more fertile 😆😆

I had my first jab in Feb, second in May and then caught Covid in late June so was quarantined until early July. Post quarantine celebrations with the other half resulted in BFP in early August. 23 weeks now and all seeming fine so far.

As sad as this is, I would imagine it would have happened regardless of whether she was vaccinated or not.

I struggled for 2 years to get pregnant, then had my two jabs and was pregnant within months! Good luck!

Yep, jabbed Jan and April 2020. BFP in June. Booster in October while pg.

Although I understand the anxiety please don't worry yourself about the vaccine and pregnancy. The risks of not being vaccinated, for you and baby, far outweigh the vaccine risks.

I was part of the vaccine trials and had my third dose of AZ back in March (first and second dose in May and June of 2020). Got pregnant 2 weeks later! My pregnancy is being recorded as part of the trial :)

2 days after my second jab of AZ i had my period and next month i was pregnant. It was a big surprise 🥰

2nd jab in September, pregnant in October. All looking great. Had the booster today after a lot of debating and worrying but decided to get it. Everything fine so far. No issues and on 20 week scan all was excellent

I had my second covid jab the day on my LH peak on ovulation tests. I fell pregnant that month so it didn’t affect me at all
