Soo I’m not to sure whether this is discharge or what but it doesn’t feel like discharge I’ve only had. These pants on an hour and I’ve checked. And there wet but not a lot some of it feels stick in the middle s I think there’s some discharge in it but it doesn’t all look like discharge I’m not sure I’m only 31 weeks ways everyone reckon

Looks like waters to me but they can test at the hospital, put a pad on and ring triage and get checked out. Good luck x

Tee20x · 27/06/2021 14:47

Could it just be sweat? I'm sure around that time I'd constantly be thinking my waters were leaking but was just sweat and/or discharge (ew)

IPeedInThePool · 27/06/2021 14:49

Put a pad on and lie still on your side for about 30mins then get up if it "pools" out ring triage

PremieMummy · 27/06/2021 14:51

Doesn't look like it to me, my waters went ar 31 weeks last pregnancy and it didn't stop coming, just kept trickling out. You could go have it tested at hospital if you're worried though.

ArtfulScreamer · 27/06/2021 16:54

Looks like discharge to me I had lots when pregnant, that being said I'm not a medical expert so call MAC for advice if you're concerned.

Waters will flow way more

It will be like you've wet yourself most likely, this looks like heavy/watery discharge to me

That’s not always true When my second and third waters were broke initially there was only a tiny trickle
Canyoureallymakemethin · 27/06/2021 17:11

Please get it checked.

My daughter woke up one night a bit wet, thought it was discharge and ignored it for 2 days (no further wetness).

Went into labour 2 days later and deivered at 24+6. She had developed an infection which turned into sepsis. turns out it was her waters leaking, which allowed the infection in.

They were both lucky to make it.

Better to be told its just discharge and feel a little silly than risk it.

rulesofthecar · 27/06/2021 17:12

I had a similar amount at full term, and went to get checked out. They couldn’t detect anything at the hospital, and sent me home (despite me also having contractions), but we went back, and my baby was born 4 hours later! So hopefully it’s not for you, but definitely get checked out!

I suppose it depends. I sometimes get the gush of watery discharge (thinking it's wee etc), but everyone's different

Only had one DC so not much to go on!

GeoffreyGeoffreys · 27/06/2021 17:16

If it's your waters it will continue to trickle. Definitely get checked out.

PurBal · 27/06/2021 17:26

I get more than that due to incontinence. But if that's not something you've experienced I'd get checked out.

Canyoureallymakemethin · 27/06/2021 17:28

Should have said, her membranes had completely re sealed and had to broken before delivery, but it was enough to have allowed the infection in.

Luckily she went staight to hospital when she had very slight pink discharge and grumbly tummy pain 2 days later as her heart rate, blood pressure and infection markers were all really high. They gave massive anitibiotics and monitored for 8 hours but she deteriorated so had to be induced to save them both. If she had waited even 24 hours we would probably have lost them both.

Please dont think since you hav'nt had any further wetness that it must be discharge. Please get checked.

Nocutenamesleft · 27/06/2021 17:54

I would without a doubt get it checked

Midwifes have ways of telling if it’s your waters. It has a very unique smell apparently! My midwife wanted me before she smelt my underwear. Ha.

I had a baby at 32 weeks. I did an interview for a support prematurity group. One of the things I always say

Trust your instincts. Any less movements from baby. Get checked. Count the kicks saved my babies life. I was made to feel like I was being a pain in my second pregnancy. When it happened again. My second child was also premature

So please get it checked. Ring them for sure. If nothing else. Xx

Couldn’t agree with this more.

Get it checked.

Some advice here is wrong, waters may not pool or flow, with my 3rd it was literally the tiniest trickle not constant, I only identified it as she was my 3rd and I knew what to look for. Only the hospital test was able to confirm it was definitely waters

Pee and sweat wouldn't have that pink colour, please get checked
