Inducing labour

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and my midwife is offering for me to be induced at 34/35 weeks. I’m undecided on what to do as the pregnancy is causing me a lot of pain and I’m feeling quite stressed mentally. Does anyone have any advice on whether this is a good course of action?

What's the reason to induce you so early? X

That seems very early to induce you. Is there a reason? Baby measuring very large or Gestational Diabetes?

Depends on the reasons for it.

Personally would try hold out until at least 37wk. I was in a lot of pain with our twins but I held on to them until 38wk, they were 17lb combined too.

Their reasoning is I’m bleeding and in a lot of pain. I’m underweight which is what they think is behind the pain but it’s causing my body a lot of distress. They have said it’s optional and a part of me want to go through with it however I don’t want to if this is going to cause complications for my baby’s health or development.

@Smeggy2000
I can only give you my personal opinion on what I'd do for myself. I would go with the inducement at 35w. Yes it's early, but it's in a controlled environment at a slow pace.
The alternative is to wait for a natural start, but what if something happens and you have to be blue lighted/emergency c-section etc x

I was induced at 37 due to baby being small and I must say I only have good things to say about it they did what was best for me and baby and go with it if you feel comfortable with it and if your in pain I wouldn't blame you for being induced ☺️
