Im 9 weeks pregnant and im so nauseous. I can't eat anything. Just about drinking. Has anyone found anything that has helped?

Ginger biscuits. Just nibble them slowly.
Flat coke.
Ginger beer if you can bear the bubbles, I didn't try it flat but that might work too.
Peppermint tea.

There are a million remedies out there that you could try that might or might not work, but this is my advice from someone who is 19 weeks and had really bad HG, and who is still suffering:

Sip water little and often, and make sure it's not ice cold. I found water without a chill was easier to keep down. If you can take small sips of liquids to keep them down, try smoothies (especially with banana and ginger in), juices, soups etc.

One of the biggest things that helped me was eating whatever I craved, no matter what it was. I was more likely to keep it down. At one point all I ate for over a week was apples. Then it was magnum ice creams, but because I 'fancied' them, it was easier to stomach.

But actually things that helped me were cyclizine, seasickness bands, bananas, ginger tea, ritz crackers, toast, biscuits, anything 'dry' really!

I'm finding ice cold drinks helpful, Robinsons do a nice like and mint cordial which is lovely. Weirdly a hot shower also does the trick for me, or lying on a cold floor!

How unusual, @Mumwithrum - I also ate apples and then magnums for a week whilst my HG was awful!

Seconding the cyclizine if you’re really struggling, @shuz1980. If you’re getting the urge to eat anything, try to get hold of it ASAP, no matter how weird it might seem. Sip water frequently because heaving whilst thirsty or dehydrated I found even worse. I found ice lollies really helpful if I was getting to the point where I couldn’t bear to drink.

In contrast to other posters, I tried to stay away from ‘dry’ foods. In the mornings I had Rice Krispies with lots of milk. I knew I’d be sick within the hour and, without going into too much detail, if it goes down easily it’ll probably come back up without too much trouble, too. It’s fortified with vitamins, so it was doing some good for the short time it was in my stomach.

Best of luck - it can be so debilitating.
