Icandy differences

I’m looking into the icandy pushchairs but struggling to fully understand the difference between the peach, orange and lime. The only real difference I can see is that the lime can’t be converted into a double like the other two can, am I missing something? I just want one that’s going to suitable for all terrains and is easy to fold up and put in the car.

Hello. I chose the iCandy Lime because, at the time, it was the lightest of the three (and it was available in purple!). I’ve been really happy with the buggy. It’s survived different terrains (including some very muddy park walks last Winter), has a large basket, fits easily in the boot of my car and my 19 month old still comfortably fits. One thing to note about iCandys - it is important to regularly oil the wheel bearings otherwise the wheels can stick.

Orange is cheaper to convert to double than peach and i believe the carrycot is larger

I posted about the icandy peach on the push chairs category but didn't get any responses. I wanted to know if there was any differences between just the different peach models. Eg the normal black or grey version is generally £1000 but you can get yellow or purple etc for about half that price. I don't get why the drastic price difference if it's just down to the colour!

@ApplePie86 I saw these on Amazon. It looks like they are from 2018, I believe the peach was updated last year. It must just be stock that’s left over because the colours are less desirable!

@snowy0wl thanks for that. I think we are leaning more towards the lime as we’re not planning on having children close enough in age that converting to a double should be necessary. I just wanted to make sure I’m not missing anything.

Orange is bigger, in terms of the frame I think. I had one, loved it but it is huge. It was really easy to fold up for the boot but takes up a lot of space. That wasn’t an issue for me because I was almost always walking with it and it rarely went in the car. The basket underneath is massive and can fit loads of shopping in it but again, this makes it big. The large carrycot was a bonus for us as we had a very long baby and used it for overnight sleeps when away from home for the first 6 months which saved carting a travel cot about.

I’ve got an Orange and as the poster above wrote I love it. It’s very large but we have a big boot and wanted a buggy that could hold 2 children if needed. I am now pregnant with our second and our first child is 1 so will come in handy hopefully. Really sturdy, well made product in my opinion!

We had the Peach all terrain for our first and I loved it, it’s 3.5 years old and still in perfect shape after camping trips, long walks and general rough treatment. I’ll be scrubbing it all down soon in preparation for baby no 2!
