Baby clothing necessities

Currently 34+3 with DC2, DD1 was born 8 years ago so feeling like a first time mum all over again.

Went through all babys clothes today and I'm panicking I don't have enough

So far I have
Newborn - 8 x outfits
10 x short sleeve vest
2 x sleepsuits

0-3 Months - 7 x outfits
3 x sleeveless vests
5 x short sleeve vests
2 x long sleeve vests
3 x pairs of pyjamas
2 x sleepsuits

3-6 Months - 2 x outfits
10 x short sleeve vests

I have loads of socks, bibs, knitting etc just more worried that I don't have enough vest for the baby and looking for some help, I remember with my DC1 that we were gifted loads of clothes but I really just want to make sure that we are sorted for the baby. I've probably went over the top with the outfits so please no hate 🙈 just Purley looking for help regarding having enough vests and if not then what would you say I need more of.

@Caspianberg the Knitted outfits are quite light tbh they aren't a think knit and they are sort of summery looking. I do however have a couple of thicker Knitted outfits for in the event that it is a colder day, living in Scotland the weather can be unpredictable at times 🤣

@BertieBotts see this is what I was thinking, with her being due to be born in the summer I thought the long sleeve vests may cause her to be too warm but then again there is always colder days or evenings if out walking so just wanted to make sure I had everything covered.

I have around 11 cardigan/hat sets which range from newborn to 3-6 Months 😁

Every mommy may have a different list of essentials for her baby. My list, in general, was about 15 sets of onesies for my baby because I am incredibly comfortable wearing them. But that's if we're talking about infants. Further on, the task gets more complicated. If your child is about a year old, you will have to choose good clothes for children in large quantities and at reasonable prices, because children grow up very quickly. My toddler grew out of clothes so fast that we didn't have time to buy her new sweaters. Thank goodness everyone gave us new clothes for her birthdays and other family holidays.
