Diarrhoea constantly 30 weeks pregnant

Hi,

I'm 30 weeks pregnant. I'd had boats of diarrhoea in early pregnancy, usually not associated with cramps. However, for the last week I've had it every day. It was particularly bad with cramping 3 days ago.

I'm keeping hydrated, I'm able to eat little and often. It seems to be at its worst in the early evenings and through the night, mild-moderate cramps before it starts.

It doesn't seem to matter what I eat, or when I eat it still keeps happening.

Is this normal? I don't remember this happening this much in my first pregnancy.

I had a severe stomach bug last month, d+v and was monitored due to dehydration and lack of movements. I got over it after a couple of days and all was fine since last week.

Any advice for an anxious mum to be?

I was monitored in hospital with a sickness bug on two occasions. There was no vomiting, just the runs.
First was midway through and second was at around 30 weeks.
On the second occasion they managed to get a sample and it turned out to be campylobacter poisoning.
Now I don't know if I was unlucky twice or what but the incidents definitely left me with slightly on off symptoms for a few weeks afterwards until I gave birth at 37 weeks.

Can they test a sample just to rule anything like that out?
Also my two pregancies were polar opposites in how I felt energy and sickness wise, so it may just be one of those things.

Sorry about the ramble there, hopefully someone a bit wiser may come along.

Hope you feel better soon.
