Has anyone else experienced this during their pregnancy. I'm 29+2 and the last 2-3 weeks i have been getting a ache type feeling where my pubic bone is. When I press down it is a little uncomfortable. I also have a little swelling on left side. Sorry if this is TMI. This is my 5th baby and first time I've experienced this during pregnancy

I had this with baby number 2. Started around 25 weeks for me, and by 30 weeks I was having weekly physio sessions and on crutches!

I have it this time around too (baby number 4) and am currently 23 weeks. So far I’m managing it by sleeping with a pregnancy pillow between my legs, rolling out of bed while keeping knees together, trying to limit heavy lifting or pushing. Sitting on a carrier bag in the car so I can swivel to get out, again keeping knees together.

On the plus side it did go pretty much instantly once baby was born so hoping for the same this time. Also hoping I don’t end up on crutches again!

I had this too. I’d have to stand up or sit down at regular intervals by the time I was about 35 or 36 weeks. If I walked around or stood for too long I’d ache - if I sat down for too long I’d be stuck (I’d get a horrible stabbing pain when I tried to stand up again). Disappeared completely as soon as DS was born.

Thank you ladies. I get back ache when I'm standing for only 15 mins and have to sit. I don't get much pelvic pain it's mainly around the pubic bone and is worse first thing in the morning. I hope this clears up for me once she is here 🤞

I had this too and as with the other posters it disappeared after birth. I found stairs particularly painful so used to come down on my bum - fine at home but not so great when you have a fire alarm test at work and they ban you from using the lifts Grin

Oh the pain is real!!!! Baby 1 it started half way through, I thought it was just usual pregnancy pains so struggled on. Baby 2.. earlier and worse! I could barely walk and by the end of the day it was so so painful. Would stop me in my tracks and nearly reduce me to tears.

I am now pregnant with baby 3.. 7 weeks and already feeling those familiar pains. I found pushing trolley/buggy would Make it really bad. Try to sit with legs together not twister or apart. Get yourself a gym ball, its actually a relief sitting on that instead of a hard surface. And try not to walk much! Mine lasted about 9 months after my last pregnancy.

I've been there. I found crutches helped and a bump support belt but it didn't really get better until baby was here and I'd been to the chiropractor to have things realigned (mine started on DC 3 around 16 weeks)

I had some physio which helped a bit during pregnancy and acupuncture but they weren't long lasting.
