Vivid vaccine and rh(d) immune globulin shot

Just got eligible for a covid vaccine and wanted to book, however on Tuesday I'm having my rh(d) immune globulin shot (29 weeks pregnant with Rh negative blood).

Has any of you been given those two close together?
There is very little information online about any possible clashes, but some vaccines are not recommended around the time of rh(d) dose so really on the fence.

I would wait and speak to the person who gives you your anti-D 1st.

I'm having my anti-D this week too, have received invites for covid vaccine but not booking it during pregnancy.

Thanks @Chelyanne, that's what I'm going to do on Tuesday. However I doubt they will provide any clear guidance. The midwifes at my trust tend to say it's a "personal choice", at least this is what they told me last time...

Problem is there's not been enough research done on it atm so they just don't know what to tell you.

My parents and brothers have recently had covid despite having being vaccinated.

Not sure about having it close to anti d but the thing is any time you bleed or have a bump to your tummy you'll be back for more anti d so it may be hard to time it so you don't have either the first or second vaccine close to it.

On vaccines in pregnancy, here's the guidance from the royal college of gynaecology and obstetrics. This is the guidance/ information your gp and midwife should be using to support you in deciding.

Note that there had also been a very recent study that had found a small but significantly higher risk of stillbirth for mothers who had covid infection during labour, which isn't yet in these guidelines.

I had my anti-d at 28 weeks then my Covid vaccine at 29 weeks. I was never told it could be an issue and I’m now 38 weeks and me and baby are fine 😊
