First time posting, so please bare with! šŸ™ˆ

I’m wondering if anyone could shed some light or share experiences. We decided to start ttc in march so I came off the pill (desogestral). It was 4 weeks before I had a period, previously I had always been 28 day cycles so I assumed it would be the same this time. I tracked ovulation and we dtd regularly around this time. I estimated I would be due back on the 18th May, but have had nothing yet and no period signs.

So far there are no period signs, last Thursday I felt nauseous all day and some have this could be a sign of implantation šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø These past 2 days I have been feeling really nauseous which is unlike me, and i had even vomited last night after eating a food which I had gone off in my first pregnancy 😷 however, I am getting BFN on the tests!
Is there a time that is ideal to testing (as I read online ideally 1 week after missed period) or just assuming I’m out this month! Any help would be appreciated!

Do you have any other signs like implantation cramping?

I'd go to the doctor to get a blood pregnancy test xx

@Iworry2021 I have had slight cramping in lower, but I don’t remember it from my first, definitely not like period cramps! And as I had no sickness at all with my first, no idea if it’s similar or not but I’ve certainly not had anything like this before šŸ˜‚ x

If you've only just stopped contraceptive your cycles might take a few months to settle. You don't need to bother your GP - just do another test in a week if your period hasn't turned up. TTC can be rather frustrating but the vast majority of people will conceive within 6-12 months. Fingers crossed for you.
