Pregnant again 9 weeks postpartum!?!?

So my DH and I got carried away a few weeks ago. The morning after I checked my Clue and realised that I was likely ovulating the day before.

The last week or so I have been having random nausea like I’m a going to throw up that second but it disappears quickly. I have super tender and achey boobs and yesterday just was exhausted, more that usual with an 9 week old! I’ve done a few tests and can see very faint lines but not sure if they are just me seeing things that aren’t there. What do you think?

If it turns out that I am pregnant I will have 3 under 2.5! I know, I know - there’s always a chance of getting pregnant any time you have sex. I’m just so anxious that i am. I’m hoping all these symptoms are in my head because I really don’t know how wed cope with another baby. My DH finds the newborn stage very very stressful and our differing parenting styles cause conflict quite often. I’m worried our marriage would end up beyond any come back to repair.

Has anyone had children so close together. I through DS1 and DS2 were close in age at 20 months!

@Rose3419 I can't see a line either I'm afraid. I don't have 2 under 1 but 2 in 13.5m so not far off.
I found the pregnancy tiring but I love the small gap. They're really good friends for the most part and if I was young again I'd do the same but maybe have 3 closer together.

DownToTheSeaAgain · 19/05/2021 13:23

I had three under two. It wasn't easy at all but 14 years later we're all still alive and happy. I paid for as much help as I could afford. It made a big difference.

TinToms · 19/05/2021 13:26

I can see a line on the last one you posted. I do think you would be tremendously unlucky to be pregnant after all your precautions! But... I do see it

bigbeatmanifesto · 19/05/2021 13:29

I feel like I can also see a line on the pics you've posted to be honest. My aunty got pregnant 7-8 weeks after having her son and was using contraception so it's definitely possible even with precautions.

tentosix · 19/05/2021 13:32

I can see some faint lines.

NameChange30 · 19/05/2021 13:34

Stop wasting FRERs, use one first thing tomorrow morning, with FMU, if you are pregnant it will be positive then.

Don't know why people are advising you to take a digital test - they're less sensitive than FRERs and you can get false negatives when testing early.

Of course it's relevant that you used a condom when you had sex 🙄

GeorgiaGirl52 · 19/05/2021 13:37

A neighbor of mine had 4 children in three years (no twins). She used to say she was so fertile she got pregnant in the recovery room! All four children born well and healthy, but she spent the fourth pregnancy in bed for eight months and nearly died. Baby number 5 came two years later. Marriage still strong. Hope that helps.

Pinkbrush · 19/05/2021 13:41

I can see a faint line on the second photo you posted. I understand why you’re anxious OP, but try not to worry until you’ve had confirmation. Let us know how you get on. Good luck Flowers

kirinm · 19/05/2021 13:42

I can see lines on all of those tests but they could easily be indent lines / shadows (I've seen similar on the IC and FRER).

Good luck for when you next test, whichever result you want.

Seesawmummadaw · 19/05/2021 13:50

I had three under 2.5 and it was easier than the last with a big age gap because I had forgotten what to do.
They entertained each other and I had a rigid routine.

I can’t see lines.

Blossomandbee · 19/05/2021 13:55

I can see a shadow of a line especially on the most recent one, but there's no colour so I wouldn't say it's positive.

The MAP can mess up your hormones and periods OP so it could be that giving you symptoms. On top of you only being 9 weeks postpartum.
It would be unusual for a condom and MAP to both fail, especially if you're breastfeeding too(?) but you could test again in a day or two to be sure.

sykadelic · 19/05/2021 13:58

I see a line on the 2nd pic you posted, very faint. Agree with doing another after AF is due

CatPurple · 19/05/2021 14:05

Honestly are you the most fertile person in the world?! Please share your secret; absolutely desperate for a baby here!

SmidgenofaPigeon · 19/05/2021 14:17

Do you take the MAP every time you have sex, even with a condom?you said you only realised later that you might have been ovulating so it seems odd to rush out for the MAP after protected sex Confused

That would mess with your cycles and cost an arm and a bloody leg if you do that regularly.

BountyIsUnderrated · 19/05/2021 14:20

I can see very faint lines, test again in a week.

Coniger · 19/05/2021 14:27

I had four children in 5 years and two were 11 months apart - I had 7 weeks in 2007 where I wasn't pregnant. I don't massively remember a lot of my "Irish twins".when they were babies but they are healthy and happy teenagers who are great friends with each other now so don't panic!

Rose3419 · 19/05/2021 14:29

@SmidgenofaPigeon I’m not sure how your trying to be helpful or insightful?

I understand how contraception works and yes, I did take it this time. Being very fertile after pregnancy, the worry of potentially ovulating and general panic is what led me to the MAP. I know a few people who have fallen pregnant just using condoms and it scared me. Not that I just have to justify myself taking any form of medication.

I simply wanted opinions on the line as I said. There have been plenty of lovely people on this thread that aren’t going out of there way to try and make myself feel bad, wrong or stupid. I’m sorry that my post has seemed to annoy you so much.

@rose3419

You have a 9 week old, I imagine your hormones are still settling, possibly making you period more symptomatic?

Rose3419 · 19/05/2021 14:36

@Coniger thank you very much! Sound like super mum!!

@sillysmiles hopefully. My first period was one of my worst so fingers crossed it’s just that x

mrssunshinexxx · 19/05/2021 14:36

I can't see the lines
My 2 will be 15m apart but it was planned maybe wait and rest again in a couple days ? What does your husband say

Rose3419 · 19/05/2021 14:43

@mrssunshinexxx my husband is very calm about it all, for someone who actually gets quite stressed easily he handles stuff like this well.

He has asked what would I like to do if I am which isn’t really a question that I have an answer to. Crossing that bridge if it comes to it. X

BobbidyBob · 19/05/2021 15:53

I see a line on both FRERs. Seems highly unlikely with the other information you provided later but I think it’d be worth testing again in a couple of days. I have a 44 week gap between mine (intentional).

ofwarren · 20/05/2021 14:19

Did you do another test OP?

nellly · 20/05/2021 16:18

I can't believe some people are so rude, you know it's an option just to not fucking comment right?

I thought the first two looked negative but honestly that third one I can see it.

I get why you're still 'harping on' Hmm when you know somethings different it's hard to ignore

wildeverose · 20/05/2021 16:26

Tbh I can see lines on both frer
