Hip/leg pain and side sleeping

Anyone else have hip and leg pain related to sleeping on your side during pregnancy?
Any tips how to reduce the pain?
I already sleep with a pillow between my knees but that doesn't seem to help.
Thanks

I feel your pain! I have triple layers of mattress topper (one folded twice) and a u shaped pillow. Extending rather than folding legs helps, I think it helps distribute weight along your thigh instead of only the hip. Also found pillow between knees AND feet help. Finally, a few hours(?) a night sleep partly on my back - I prop up my right side lengthways with a bolster so I’m on a 45 degree angle, providing some sweet relief. Good luck!!!!

I have this problem too and as well as a giant cushion between my legs I’ve got smaller squishy cushions between my knee/hip area and the mattress. Keeps them elevated away from the mattress which is a bit firm and so aggravates the pain.

My DH ended up getting a thick duvet and folding it in half for me to sleep on. It was dreamy like sleeping on a very thick cloud.

He still jokes about my duvet pedestal (gone now).

Another vote for just more pillows! I find I need multiple between my knees and more running from between ankles to between my upper thighs helps.

I have this too 😭 I wake up near enough every hour with the pain down the side I’m sleeping on and have to turn over, and then repeat an hour later 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have this too, really badly and I have found that using ice packs helps alot! I grab one when I wake up in the night and it's the only thing that makes a difference
