I’m 33 weeks pregnant we have a lazy spa and I know the day don’t use hot tubs is this because of the temp ? I though maybe the chemicals but there’s less chemicals in a hot tub that a local swimming pool ! Or is it the bubbles that’s the problem ? I’m dying of finding away to reduce my pain in my hips and the nurse said a pool can help but I’m disabled and can’t get in and out on my own and my husband is working full time up unti the birth would I be able
To use the lazy spa with cool water (colder than a bath) and no bubbles ?

So I believe the prob with lazy spa are that the temp is maintained unlike a bath where the temp will continue to drop. That being said maybe u could if u keep the temp low no higher than body temp, stay in for a short while and take a drink with you. We used this method with our 2yr old last summer and will do this year to do his physio In

It's the temperature which is the problem with hot tubs, as long as you have it cooler than body temperature it's ok.

Hi OP I have a lazyspa too and have been warned by my MW not to use it with the bubbles /massage functions turned on - she said they can cause contractions 🤔 temp wise 37 - 38 degrees is fine, just keep your shoulders out of the water to avoid overheating.
