Hi. I'm 21 weeks and am currently wearing the s/m/l jersey style comfy bras but they are not going to work all the time (for eg need a strapless one). Do people generally get refitted and if so does your size fluctuate during third trimester/after pregnancy? Trying to avoid spending a fortune on new bras only for them not to fit in a months time. Thanks for any advice

I think I had to get refitted twice during pregnancy. I went from an A cup pre pregnancy to an E cup by the end.

Yes I got fitted twice during my last pregnancy too. Actually three times - Debenhams early in second trimester (although should have gone earlier than that but couldn't as was too ill with HG), stayed in underwired bras then. Then went back to Debenhams in late pregnancy and didn't feel that anything they chose fit properly or were comfy so returned them and went to Bravissimo. bravissimo spent AGES with me and were so patient and helpful as I found it soo hard to find anything vaguely comfy in late pregnancy. I've never gone anywhere else since and this was in 2018. I kept my old bras from my last pregnancy so I'm wearing some of them now at 16 weeks, mixture of underwired (Debenham's Gorgeous range) and non-wired (Emma Jane sleep bras, Cake maternity bra and a Molke) and they fit reasonably well. I wouldn't skimp out on bras tbh if you can afford it, it's worth it to be comfortable. Its awful being in so much discomfort if they don't fit properly. Oh and yes I went up another cup size when my milk came in after birth too but I didn't breastfeed for very long so I just used Emma Jane nursing bras, they're inexpensive and stretchy so cover a range of sizes. They weren't an amazing fit but ok for the 12 weeks I fed for.

Boob or bust you can measure yourself (was very helpful when nowhere did fittings in particular! It's a website and tells you how to measure and then spits out your size.
