PRE-SEED... does it work? 👀 🤔

Hi all!

So this is our 8th month of TTC following two chemical pregnancies..
This month I've decided to try pressed! We have DTD a lot more regularly this month in the hopes that it sill make a difference, and have targeted ovulation perfectly so DTD two days before, and will do tonight and tomorrow (ovulated today)

Has anybody got any success stories of pre-seed? I guess it can't be any harm trying but would love to know if it lives up to my expectations!

If you've found this page in search of lubes that have been tried and tested by fellow Mumsnet users, you might find our guide to the best lubes useful. Hope this helps! MNHQ

We had been trying for over 2 years, I did buy pre-seed and 2 months later we were pregnant. Might be a coincidence but anything is worth a try. Good luck :)

We tried pre-seed and SMEP on our 2nd month of trying and had DD1 (whose now 11) so I can’t say 100% it works but that combination worked for us.

With 1st had been trying for 6 months, used it month 7 and conceived that month. With 2nd used it from the beginning and fell pregnant first month of trying

Me and DH conceived first month using Concieve Plus, on our third cycle TTS. Good luck!

We also did SMEP for the first time that month too x

We tried lots of things like vitamins, no alcohol, decaf tea... we also used pre seed and conceived on the first month. Maybe it helped, maybe it didn't, but I was thrilled it happened so quickly (if a little surprised!).

I told my friend the things we'd tried and she used pre seed and conceived the first month they used it. They'd been trying to conceive for over a year. Again, I don't know if it was the thing that helped or not but the way I see it it's worth paying for when the result could be having a longed for baby Smile.

Can’t say for sure but TTC for 5 months and had a CP and then used preseed and conceived.. now 36 weeks pregnant x

For us, we had been trying a long time, so it felt like we were trying something new and increasing our chances. It didn’t get us pregnant. But everything you read seems to imply it works.

Using a fertility monitor was the best thing for us.

Didn't work for us but taking cough syrup to loosen up the mucous (sorry !) Worked. There is one in particular that is recommended if you Google. Also aspirin daily to get the chemical pregnancies to stick
@BertieBotts that's the thing! I wasn't sure if it's more just a line that doesn't harm the sorry or if it is some kind of fertility magic 🤔🤣
It's just a lube that doesn't hurt the sperm - it will only improve your chances of conceiving if you'd otherwise be using another lube, if you'd otherwise use nothing it doesn't. People make a lot of claims otherwise but you'll notice the company itself doesn't - and they clearly would if they could.
