Frenchic paint in pregnancy

From what I can see, Frenchic paint is very low VOC and therefore considered safe to use in pregnancy. However, is it safe enough for me to use it in a small room with no ventilation? It really needs painting, but it has no windows or fan and I can't leave the door open because our cats WILL cause trouble and get paint everywhere. My husband isn't well at the moment and I'd quite like to just get it done!

What's the verdict? Have others used it for e.g. painting furniture without opening a window/ door? I'm guessing it will take me about an hour per coat.

I think this should be fine - in fact I think I painted some nursery furniture last week in frenchic and didn't have a window open because it was so cold! You aren't spending long in there, and it isn't strong smelling so shouldn't make you feel dizzy etc.

Thanks. Should have added, I've got some frenchic already which is why I'm thinking of using it, but if anyone has suggestions of anything that's even safer that I can use without ventilation, let me know!

I reckon you'll be fine - I think I'd be more stressed not to be able to meet my nesting needs!

On the website it says Frenchic is "really low VOC" / "no added VOCs"... it doesn't give any numbers so it's hard to compare but I'd have thought that might be better for you than using a higher VOC content paint with a window just slightly open?!
