@mamajules32 I gave in about 12 weeks and went to docs, was prescribed cyclizine, but stick with it! I'd take one before getting up on a morning one at lunch and one at tea, religiously, if I didn't take them three times a day they didn't work, thankfully it past, for the most part about 24 weeks, still feel sick but no where near as bad! Xxxxx

I’ve just started promethazine after not getting much benefit from cyclizine. I think it’s doing more for me, not got rid of it obv.

My husband brings me something small in bed each morning, a slice of toast or yoghurt and fruit. Definitely helps to have something before getting up I find. And then small snacks throughout the day, no large meals, keep sipping water and rest as much as possible.

It’s so shit. Imagine all those people who are just totally fine. The mind boggles

I had really severe hypremesis with both pregnancies. I had sea sickness bands, raided my local shop of all of their ginger beer and was on 2 different lots of tablets after multiple hospital visits. I was still sick on the meds but I was able to slightly function. Just eat what ever you can stomach and sleep as much as you can! I think I literally lived off sweets for the first 15 weeks

Argh I hear you! I'm currently nibbling my way through a whole box of crackers because any time I'm not eating I'm retching!
4 year old DD keeps calling for me at awkward moments (head in toilet), it definitely wasn't this bad last time, plus the weeing every time I'm sick isn't great!
This one is an IVF baby so I very much brought it on myself, what was I thinking!?!?
Jelly snakes and flat lemonade worked well last time (this time not so much)

Seabands helped take the edge off a little bit but after week 12, I was losing a lot of weight and I was given ondansetron medication that helped cut off all the sickness however, I remember not pooing for 12 days!

I'm 9 weeks and have a toddler too.
I find that snacking through out the day has helped me this time. Usually toast or crisps, really bland food. Nothing too sweet. Sleeping and lying down as much as you can, sadly that means my toddler watches far more TV than I would like but hoping it's only for another few weeks.
