15+ week morning sickness?

I'm 15 weeks and have had all day awful nausea from quite early on. I've taken anti sickness tablets on occasion when it get bad.
I'm terrified of vomiting it was one of the reasons I wasn't sure about having a baby. If I was going to get severe vomiting like Kate Middleton would it have started by now? Or is there still a chance?

You would have been sick by now if you had HG (which is what Kate Middleton had). It usually begins very early in the pregnancy and has started to ease off by 15 weeks. So while you might vomit, you won’t have severe vomiting. Hopefully the nausea will start to go away soon!

It probably would have started by now. I have a fear of vomiting and I'm 9 weeks and I started throwing up in the last two weeks but I've been dry heaving since about 3 weeks. By your stage the placenta has taken over from the yolk which is supposed to ease nausea in most cases.

Thank you both. That makes me feel a bit less anxious to know if it was going to get that bad it would've started by now. I'm still feeling sick all day every day, I really hope it ends soon Sad although it's hard to tell how much worse I'm making it by being so anxious and thinking about it 24/7 xx

What anti-sickness meds are you on? Most of them are more effective if you take them regularly every day rather than as and when as they build up in your system that way. And are totally safe!

I'm in my second HG pregnancy and both times nausea started at 5 weeks and vomiting at 6 weeks. I can confidently say you want develop HG now. You should also start to see a marked reduction in your nausea over the next month or so fingers crossed, although there are some people who unfortunately do struggle with it throughout. Hope you're feeling better soon and don't be afraid for take the anti-sickness meds if needed. If they aren't helping, speak to your GP about trying another one. Crippling nausea, through experience, can be almost as debilitating as severe vomiting tbh so you have my utmost sympathy.
