Just looking for a bit of info I suppose, from anyone who has had similar.

20 week scan today, baby is looking healthy and all is good apart from they are measuring around 11-12 days behind. I should be 21 weeks tomorrow and baby is measuring 19+4 ish. I have to go back for another scan in a week with a consultant to get a better idea of what's happening.

Thanks x

Hi, congrats on your pregnancy. My third baby measured small (below the 5th centile) I had to go to hospital for extra scans and they regularly monitored her heartbeat - it got to the stage I was there every week for a check up. In the end I was induced at 37 weeks. She was a tiny 5lb 13oz, but perfectly healthy, other than a touch of jaundice. Smile

Thanks so much for replying!

Im so glad you had a happy result! 5lbs is teeny tiny but as long as they are healthy it's all good xx

I wouldn't worry unless baby continues to fall behind, they do have growth spurts so may catch up a bit by the next scan.

Our eldest measured 9 days behind on her anomaly scan. But that put her more in line with my lmp dates. She was born at 39+6 and an average 7lb 7oz, she was the smallest of all ours and we have a set of twins.
