Placenta position different to private scan

I had a private scan at 16+4 and they said I had a posterior placenta. I have been a bit worried about this little one because I haven't felt her very much despite her being very wriggly on scans. Just had my anomaly scan and it turns out I actually have an anterior placenta which explains the movement being much less than our others at this stage. Thankfully everything is looking good so I'm a happy bunny.
Was thinking of having a private growth and presentation scan but not so sure now.

You get what you pay for with private scans. Always use a provider that uses nhs practitioners and you generally can’t go wrong. But they can to be expensive and have longer lead times - I paid £80-120 for each of my scans and needed to wait for a bit longer.

Should also point out that after 30 weeks is when private scans (in my opinion) are worth their weight in gold, especially if the company will refer you to NHS consultants. That’s when the baby’s position can be useful in guiding further treatment and the nhs doesn’t always do this.

I had a posterior at anomaly but anterior at 32 weeks .. sonographer said it can be if uterus tips a bit and happens occasionally. Both nhs scans.
