Hi!
Last year I had a molar pregnancy.

Yesterday I done a test and it's predicted 10DPO 5 days before period.
I've attached photos of that test!

Today I took a Tesco test (requires 25hcg) and it's negative, I'm obviously completely annoyed with myself because I knew it would be negative!

Do you think it's an indent or positive?

I've had mild cramps for 4 days now with lower back.

People posting I can see a line when there isn't one are the ones you need to be angry at.

We've all had tough journeys.

MyGrassIsBrowner · 30/03/2021 11:01

@Chelyanne nobody has said they can see a line on her most recent ones? The ones the OP uploaded at the beginning of this thread were definite faint positives so?

@georgiaerin I'm so sorry hunny. I hope you get your BFP soon. Sending hugs 💖

Pokercomic · 30/03/2021 11:07

AF hasn’t arrived yet right? So you are still in the game, don’t count your chickens and all that...

Chelyanne · 30/03/2021 11:09

I disagree, I couldn't see colour to the left "line". I zoomed in, turned brightness up.
The misfortune of a dodgy test throwing up a half line is sods law too. I think we've all done the crazy testing when desperate for a positive, I've done it with the hopes of negatives after miscarriages too. These super sensitive tests really are wonderful and awful at the same time.

Amz6219 · 30/03/2021 17:45

So FRER today is BFP?? X

Namechange1991x · 30/03/2021 19:15

I do cringe on here when people are like 'its positive, congratulations!' when there is doubt over a second line..luckily I wouldn't believe people on the internet, but others less vulnerable may do. Also it's getting someone's hopes up. The best way to find out is a clear blue digital where it will clearly state 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant'. Peering at possible lines is enough to drive anyone up the wall. Good luck OP. Got a digital test you can do OP?

MyGrassIsBrowner · 01/04/2021 19:14

@Namechange1991x not everyone can afford a clear blue digital, they're stupidly expensive. If someone has created a thread asking for opinions then people are going to give opinions arent they?

If you can't afford a clear blue test you can't afford a child

MyGrassIsBrowner · 01/04/2021 19:22

@Namechange1991x wtf!! you're insanely ignorant to say that. Laughable.
You can get a blood test at the GP for free to find out if you're lregnant. Some people just like the convenience of a FRER.

Hi everyone.
Disgusted by some of your comments from grown women.
I didn't take a clear blue digital because there's NO POINT. I was testing stupidly early and knew it would be negative. I had a 5 year old son and never got pregnant with one.
What a ridiculous hurtful comment to say if you can't afford a digital you can't afford a child.
Can someone advise how I delete my post? It's upsetting and not needed.

You're telling me if someone can't afford £5-£10 to check whether they're about to bring a child into the world, that's not worrying? Also, GPs do not do blood tests for pregnancy routinely, unless there are concerns around the HCG levels. I know, because that happened to me. You are expected to find out yourself whether you are expecting.

Children cost on average £75k up to their 18th birthday.[/quote]
I've actually contacted my GP as I suffered a horrible molar pregnancy and have an appointment next Tuesday to check if this is another pregnancy or I still have tissue which is cancerous.
Keep your horrible opinion to yourself, it's not the sort I want on my post.

@georgiaerin I'm so sorry you're having to listen to this utter tosh. Literally gob smacked at the ignorance of some people.

crispychicken12 · 01/04/2021 19:46

Some posters on here are SO insensitive

MyGrassIsBrowner · 01/04/2021 19:47

I've reported her post. Hopefully MN will sort it out.

If that's directed at me you can leave the thread also.

I don't care who anyone is, to make the comment she did was absolutely disgusting for no reason.

I'm unable to see where I can delete this post if someone can help me out please.

Also to tell someone on a thread about TTC is sensitive is also just as hurtful.

Oh god I'm sorry ! Thought you said so sensitive 😂😂😂😂 Ah I'm sorry! Xxxx

@georgiaerin I hope you're okay, I've been on the receiving end of mumsnet cranks before and it's horrible.

People don't realise how emotionally consuming TTC is, if they don't have anything nice to say they should really think before posting.

Don't let this thread get you down OP, try to stay positive and I wish you all the success in getting your BFP xx

ivfbeenbusy · 01/04/2021 19:59

Just because the poster was blunt doesn't mean her post should be deleted. She does have a point that if you can't read the line type pregnancy tests then get an unequivocal digital one? They are accurate a few days before your period is due these days (so almost as sensitive as FRER) and also not that much more expensive?

Also posters are correct in that most GPs don't provide routing blood tests to confirm pregnancy. I fought to get one once following a previous ectopic and even then was told it was highly unusual and pretty much a waste of time since one test isn't going to tell you if it's viable or a blighted ovum etc.

crispychicken12 · 01/04/2021 20:06

@ivfbeenbusy I just think it could of been approached in a more sensitive manner

She literally said if you can't afford a digital test you can't afford a child.

I mean that's pretty harsh and not needed?

Also I never got a "pregnant" on a clear blue digital with my son I used 3 up until 6 weeks and now he's 5.

So whatever to those really 🤷🏻‍♀️

MyGrassIsBrowner · 01/04/2021 20:27

@ivfbeenbusy So you're saying that telling someone they can't afford a child if they can't afford a digital test is okay then? Cause that's what it sounds like. Why dont you just shut up and take your horrid opinion elsewhere, and take @Namechange1991x with you whilst you're at it.

Namechange1991x · 01/04/2021 20:30

I stand by my comments.

I TTC for 7 years, had fertility treatment, had three losses including an ectopic pregnancy which was missed and I lost my tube.

I am not an insensitive person, I'm.sorry if it came across that way and I'm sorry you felt the need to gang up on me.

MyGrassIsBrowner · 01/04/2021 20:32

@Namechange1991x Say something as nasty as 'you can't afford a child if you can't afford a digital test' and expect the wrath. There's literally no need to say something so ridiculous.
