Engaged head?

I've had a growth scan this morning and they said the baby is approx 7lbs 3, I'm currently 37 weeks and 3 days. Is this big? I'm worried I might have a massive baby this is my first baby.
They have confirmed his head is extremely low down and engaged now. I am having period pain here and there and different types of cramps. I've had more frequent bowl movements too and feeling sick a lot. Does this mean baby may be on his way. Now I know he's already about 7lbs 3 I'm really hoping I don't go over and I know he can grow 1/2 a week from now.

They aren't always accurate with estimated weights. They were pretty much bang on with mine they estimated 6lb 4 I had her next day at 6lb 3 but my best friend was estimated 7lb 9 at 37+1, didn't give birth until almost 41 weeks and he weighed 6lb 12.
It does sound like your showing symptoms of baby coming! Good luck

It's not big, no. You can see on your percentile chart that it is only around 40th percentile.
I had one last week at 37 +4 and baby was estimated 7lb 2.

Even if you went a week over and let's say for arguments sake it's 1/2 pound per week, your baby would be low 9lb by 41 weeks. I don't think that would be classed as a massive baby. Also know growth scans are only estimates, I really wouldn't worry. :)

My second baby was 4/5ths engaged from 36 weeks and still went to almost 42 weeks. Doesn't mean anything on how soon they'll come unfortunately
