Stokke sleepi mini

Hello

Just looking for feedback from anyone who has used this from birth. Did you find it good? Was it any problem not having a reflux incline or rocking function, and was it easy to move from room to room? We live in a small flat so I am hoping it could be the only sleep space and I can wheel it a few metres into the living area for daytime sleeps.

Also, if you put it by your bed, do the gaps allow you to reach in and soothe the baby at all, or would you have to sit up and lean over, iyswim.

I am also wondering, if baby is too small for sleeping bags at first or just prefers a blanket, is it easy to find a size of cellular blanket that will fit this cot without having too much/too little left to tuck in?

Also interested if anyone has used any of the alternative makers for mattresses for this, or just the Stokke one.

I would be really grateful for any info as I am due soon and need to make a decision!

I have the Stokke sleepi. We had a next2me for the first 6 months so didn’t use the mini, but any normal cellular blanket would be fine. I’ve found that normal cot sheets fit the sleepi. We got our mattress from naturalmat and it’s lovely - I highly recommend it.

The sleepi itself is lovely and we’ve also got the extensions so my 3 year old can use it as a proper bed.

We had it for exactly the same reasons - small flat - and loved it. You can reach through to soothe them just fine. We didn’t end up wheeling it around like we thought as used a sleepyhead for daytime naps. We used normal cellular blankets at first and the stokke mattress.

Thank you both for the info!

We had it and it lasted, with the extension kits til my son was 4 and then we used it again for the baby, so it’s still going strong 6 years on.

We lived in a flat so the wheels on the mini were great and meant we didn’t need a Moses basket or anything. I also really loved it as bigger cot and a junior bed.

Get sheets off Amazon and enjoy!

Thanks whiteonesugar I think the moving between rooms thing is the big selling point for me because it seems silly to have two sleeping ‘facilities’ when we are short of space and have literally about four steps between the rooms! It’s open plan lounge/kitchen too so even if we are in the kitchen we’d be in the same room for naps. If we were doing daytime naps downstairs it might be different!

It does also look cute! I am wondering whether to get the drape.
