Cancer, polyps....and pregnancy

I have 8 years of cancer remission, so I was allowed to have a child by doctors only three years ago. Two and a half years ago I was diagnosed with polyps, which appeared because of the inflammation of the uterus. I got treatment, but my doctors said because of polyps I became infertile. My husband forces me to fight for being parents. And I am here, on this forum, to find some support, to find the strength to move on, because I mostly lost my hope to get pregnant. Please, share your opinion, if I have a chance to hold my baby.

Sounds like you've been through a lot. I'm glad you were able to have the child you wanted after cancer treatment.

Many women get polyps that are removed successfully that don't impact fertility. I've seen a lot of doctors tell women 'you'll really struggle to conceive' and then the woman finds herself unexpectedly pregnant.

But what you're looking for are medical opinions. Your doctors will know far more about your individual circumstances than we lay people on an Internet forum ever can...

I cannot begin to imagine what you have been through and cannot comment on the effects of cancer to fertility, but i had polyps removed via hysterescopy (private fertility clinic) last summer and fell pregnant the following month.
Have you discussed with a fertility specialist?

@physicskate thank you for your reply! The matter is that I tried mostly everything that could help. I just wanted to find people who faced the same problem and could find the solution. Yes, I think it is a good idea to see my doctor again. Maybe, she will provide some additional options for me. Thank you for your words and for your advice!

Thank you that you did not pass my post! I am happy you were successful in getting pregnant! Yes, I consulted a fertility specialist. She said that after removing polyps I got uterine synechiae. As far as I caught it, it is like some extra tissues in my endometrium. They filled up the part of it, so it is much harder to get pregnant. my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/16561-ashermans-syndrome
