Successful pregnancies after miscarriage stories

Sorry, I pressed send too quickly

Here's the full post:

Hi everyone,

I had a miscarriage yesterday at 4 weeks and 5 days.

Our son is 7 months old. We were lucky to fall pregnant with him straight away.

As I turned 34 in February we know time isn't on our side, so we started ttc again two months ago.

I was so happy when I got a positive pregnancy test last Sunday, but unfortunately I started bleeding yesterday evening and a pregnancy test confirmed I wasn't pregnant anymore.

I'm devastated and heartbroken to say the least. Although it was so early on and I know so many things can go wrong at the early stage, I already thought of baby names. Stupid in hindsight, I know. My partner also was really excited.

My face is red and swollen from all the crying and I'm grieving so much. I also wonder whether I will ever be able to be pregnant again and also have a positive outcome.

So I'm just wondering if anyone could share positive stories with me about miscarriages and subsequent healthy pregnancies? It would be especially nice to hear from older mums like myself.

Thanks x

@imsosad2021 hi op, I'm really sorry to hear about your losses. I don't know if my situation will help but I do hope it will help you. I have a 13 year old daughter and got pregnant with her really quick. However in July 2009 I lost a baby at 11+4. I cried so much. Me and hubby was trying again and going out I was pregnant in 2013. Sadly I lost that baby too at 6+6. I cried some more. I fell pregnant again in 2014 and welcomed my youngest daughter. Sadly it took me 6 years to have her. She is now 7 years old. Me and my hubby really wanted to try again and kept trying and trying but I wasn't falling pregnant. I had loads of tests done and so did he and there was nothing wrong with us. I eventually found out I was pregnant in 2021 and went on to have a healthy son in December 2021. Although it did take me 7 years to conceive and have my son I'm just grateful that I became a mum again. However I would say to you never give up hope. One day you will become pregnant again. You are only in your early 30'S like myself..

I do wish you and your family all the best. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
