Strange pain down below? (may be TMI)

I'm 21+3 and over the last couple of days I'm having some weird sensations down below. First it was a very well localised pain almost as if a spot was developing just outside the entrance to my vagina, I felt around for a lump and there wasn't one, looked with a mirror and everything looked completely normal. Now that feeling has gone but I'm getting random burning/aching sensations here and there all around the general down below area, but hard to describe but it kinda feels like an ache you might get there after a very long bike ride and some bruising, but interspersed with burning. Yet when I actually touch the area to feel for anything there's no pain, no lumps, nor is there any itching. Everything looks totally normal. If I try to search online I just get the usual results about thrush/infection etc. There's no thrush and I don't have a UTI either as I was tested v recently. Haven't changed any laundry or soap products recently either.

Anyone had this before? If I still have it tomorrow I may contact my midwife but just wondered if this is another 'normal' pregnancy symptom that no-one tells you about lol.

It could be because of increased pressure, or increased blood volume. Mention to midwife, doesnt sound too unusal

Lightening crotch maybe.. google that

Yea I had pain and swelling for the last half of my last pregnancy. It was painful to wee and hurt during sex.
During labour one midwife thought I had thrush but I explained it wasn’t.
My bits literally healed within an hour after ds2 arrival! The relief after was amazing!

It can be linked to pgp/spd pain. It can also be increased blood flow and pressure from baby. If it increases upon waking, try sleeping with a pregnancy pillow that reaches your feet and isn’t too wide or too narrow (sometimes can take a bit of trying out). There’s lots of good info on pgp pain relief or helping reduce symptoms and some of that may help. Sometimes a nice cool compress or flannel down there can bring some relief. I wouldn’t worry though, it’s very normal in pregnancy.

Thanks that's reassuring to hear.

Didn't think it was lightning crotch as I thought that only happens in the last few weeks? And didn't seem to fit with PGP as I'm completely mobile otherwise, no hip or leg pain and don't feel the need to use a pregnancy pillow yet. But yes definitely feels like it could be increased blood flow/pressure. A cool flannel does sound good right now.
