I am 7 weeks with #2 (third pregnancy) and never had MS before - feel like I'm constantly hungover or reading in the car and always hungry... don't know how to stop it (if I can). Not actually vomited yet, just feel dreadful!

Does anyone have any tips??

TIA x

Diet coke always worked for me, sipped slowly.

I've now also had diarrhea for the past 24 hours.

I've finally admitted defeat and called the doctors for an appointment. Only thing is I'm lactose intolerant and the anti l-sickness medication they give has lactose in it.

See what they say, but I've barely been able to get out of bed for a week and now with the diarrhea as well I'm worried I'm going to get dehydrated.

Thank goodness for WFH, I don't know how I would manage if I had to go in to the office every day!

No vomiting since yesterday morning just constant nausea, just nibbling some quavers hoping they will help...! x

Polos! Saved my life, I carried them everywhere.

Well the doctor said it's most likely bad morning sickness, but in rare cases Covid can cause sickness.

So they told me to get a Covid test and then call back if it's negative.

The chance of it being Covid is less than 1%, the chance of it being morning sickness is over 50%. This pandemic is a joke.

@zzzebra I am sorry you didn't have a great response. My GP has given cyclizine and will be calling back to check on me next week. Make sure you ring straight back after your test and possibly request a different GP.

Crystallised ginger helps me a lot. And sips of apple juice.

Pyridoxine (vit B6) 25mg three times a day and Doxylamine 25mg before bed are good adjuvants for decreasing nausea of pregnancy - and you shouldn't need a script for them.

I also use ondansetron as it's very effective but otherwise I'd be vomiting regularly.

Update, spoke to doctor as started being really sick, got told to go to a&e and was in over night with dehydration 🤦‍♀️ Had me in fluids all night but thankfully they have put me in prochlorperazine medication and the difference is amazing! Still have time when I feel a little sick but I can actually drink normally now instead of little sips etc! Recommend talking to doctor if you are struggling!
