Cyclizine delayed effect?

Looking for reassurance, very anxious here!
I'm 7+ 3 weeks and have been very nauseous (vomited a few times too) for about a week and a half. 4 days ago I started taking cyclizine (3 a day). It didn't seem to help initially but yesterday and today I've felt a lot less nauseous.
Now of course I'm worried the reduction in my symptoms is a sign of miscarriage. Could it just be the drugs have taken a few days to work?
(I'm experiencing a lot of pain from sore gums and throbbing in my right hip in case that's relevant, have wondered if the pain has just taken my attention from the nausea although I am definitely having less food and smell aversion).
Any experiences very welcome!

It definitely took a good few days to kick in for me. I had a thread on here and people said if can take a while to kick in. It's most likely just being that. I understand the anxiety though, 19 weeks and I still worry about everything.

I started cyclizine at 13 weeks and it took a few days of 3x a day for me to feel better. But then I felt much better and the sickness has continued to improve and now at 22 weeks it's basically gone (fingers crossed) without needing any cyclizine. In the interim, I tried to come off it or reduce the dose several times, and each time it took a few days for me to feel worse - and then a few days to feel better again once I upped the dose. So I really do think it builds up in your system and there is a slower, longer-term effect than just the 4-8 hours each dose is supposed to last.

I understand how worrying early pregnancy can be, but I really think it's so much more likely that your loss of sickness is due to the cyclizine than being any sign of miscarriage. I hope you continue to feel less sick and you have a lovely baby in 33 weeks Flowers

@PutOnAHappyFace thanks so much, congratulations on your pregnancy and on being almost half way!
@kingfisher657 thanks so much that's so reassuring, particularly how you've described how coming off and going on. Congratulations on your pregnancy!
