Is this normal for morning sickness?

Hi, OK, I'm 7+3 with my first pregnancy. It's an ivf pregnancy so I had a scan at 7 weeks which showed a heartbeat and everything OK. From about 5 weeks I had what I would consider "normal" morning sickness, tiredness, mild nausea, sensitivity to certain tastes and smells. For the last couple of days however I've started to get more coldy/fluey like symptoms, my temperature feels like it's going up and down (although no real change on thermometer - although it's old and it could just be broken), night sweats, headaches, etc. And my original symptoms have faded a lot.

I'm going to get a covid test just in case and if negative will try the local epu in the week but for my peace of mind, has anyone else experienced symptoms like this?

Thanks.

Congratulations. I don't think that sounds like typical pregnancy symptoms, more like a virus or something. It could be masking original pregnancy symptoms. I felt exactly like this when I had Covid so a test is a good idea. Your immune system is lower when pregnant so we are more vulnerable to illnesses. Good luck x

Sounds very much like Covid to me. Definitely get it checked out. Hopefully you feel better soon whatever the reason 🤞

That sounds standard to me in early pregnancy based on my experiences, but I wouldn't say it is anything to do with morning sickness, for me it was the hormones not specifically morning sickness as I never vomited, just low level nausea always.
