Long term use baby bjorn travel cot

Hello,

Are travel cuts safe for long term use? Or is it. It recommended. We are going to be moving back to the U.K. and space will be tight for 6/9 months so wondered if this was an option?

Thanks

I’m not sure about the recommendations- but so long as baby is small enough s/he should be fine!
The baby born travel cot is quite small (black one) so I guess it depends on how old your child is. Also, it’s floor level so I know my kids were colder than we expected in it - perhaps pop on vest.

We used the Nuna Sena travel cot for 6 months whilst living with my parents as our house was being renovated. Our son was 1.5yrs and it was absolutely fine. It is raised slightly higher off the floor than the BabyBjorn one though which helped. It also had an infant insert which was much better when he was little when we used it when staying away from home as it saved our backs!

Thanks ladies. He will be about 9 months when we move back so hopefully he will be ok in it. Will try it out. Or maybe look at the nuna sena.

They are okay until baby can climb out of it or exceed the weight limits like any other cot.

You may want to invest in a better matress to go inside it too as the mat you get is quite thin. Remember to adjust the weight limit to include any you do add.

@Chelyanne yes I was going to try and search for a better mattress. Thank you Star
