Early Labour Signs?

Hi all, first post! So I am 35 and 5 days pregnant with my first (unknown sex). I had a cervical stitch put in at 22 weeks due to a previous LLETZ procedure 6 years ago and my cervix was .2mm too short for what they liked. On Sunday (valentines day) I went to labour ward with tightenings at top of bump and cramps below bump. They monitored me for 48 hours as I have this stitch then let me go home.

I have now been home for 2 days and only been comfortable lying in bed on my side (changing from left to right). I've just been to the loo and had really loose stool for the first time in about 16 weeks! I have really struggled with constipation through the 2nd and 3rd trimester. I also feel a bit sick which I haven't felt since around 16 weeks and having lower back pain.

When I was in hospital the baby was head down and I had quite a lot of water. My stitch and cervix looked fine on the Sunday but they didn't check again. I'm due to have my stitch out next week. I'm also measuring about a week bigger than baby should be.

My question is; what are signs I could be going into labour? I know there's the mucas plug and waters breaking but due to me having a stitch in these wouldn't appear like they do normally or so I've been told? I don't want to go of the fact that I finally had a poop that didn't feel like I was birthing a rock out of my bum (sorry haha) but I just want to be extra cautious as I don't want to be going into labour and not know.

If in any doubt ring them and get checked you don't want to damage ur cervix by labouring with the stitch in place x

Waters breaking and mucus plug aren't always signs of labour.
Waters don't often go before/during labour.
Mucus plug can also go at any point and regrow.

The main signs would be actual contractions or an increase in lower back pain.

As PP said. With a cervical stitch, I'd contact them whenever you're in doubt to be safe
