Hi, this is my first pregnancy and I’m SOOO worried. I had some lightish brown discharge when I wiped last night. This happened once so I thought maybe that’s fine as it stopped but then this morning and once more today (only when I wipe) there’s a small amount of pinkish discharge which is very light pink. It’s not happening every time I go to the toilet. I did have sex for the first time the day before yesterday? I’m really worried and will call the midwife tomorrow as it’s Sunday today but for now I can’t stop worrying!

Also I may add I’ve been experiencing sickness and sensitive nipples so I still feel pregnant.

I believe spotting after sex is super common! Id say keep an eye on it and if it gets heavier/redder contact your midwife x

@Sunflowerx
Thanks for the reply! I’m super nervous as this is my first time haha I’ll keep a close eye on it and hopefully everything will be fine! X

I had spotting around this time and my midwife told me not to worry (despite 2 early miscarriage previously). It stopped after 5 days and all was well at my dating scan. Hoping for a similar outcome for you!

Spotting is actually listen as a common symptom for 6 weeks pregnant.
I've had it with all my pregnancies and it's been leftover blood from implantation and also where the baby is burying deeper.

Spotting is very, very common after sex. Exactly the same thing happened to me. As long as it doesn't become heavier or you suddenly get cramping with it you should be fine. Worth calling GP or midwife tomorrow though for reassurance if you want xx
