Hi all i'm 5 weeks pregnant.

i have seen brown and red blood when i wipe down there everyday since last sunday . As i was really worried i booked a private ultrasound to get it checked and found out that i have a subchorionic bleed.

I have had a previous miscarriage at 6 weeks and a termination of pregnancy at 20 weeks due to fetal abnormality last year .

I'm extremely worried and stressed. Has anyone else here had a subchorionic bleed?
How long did the bleed last for? At how many weeks did go away? please can you share your stories i'm really scared worried and scared.

I didn't have clots, no. Will you be seen soon?

Hi, I had very mild cramping, huge gushes and clots with my SCH. Couldn’t believe I was still pregnant. My miscarriages were different in that they were more painful and more constant bleeding. Whereas SCH was very stop start. I rested a lot.
Hard to believe it was 10 years ago. Seems like yesterday.
Really hope everything works out ok for you xx

Hey everyone I'm just joining as I think I have a SC too. I had spotting on Friday morning after intercourse. It stopped that evening but still had a scan today and the baby is measuring at 9 weeks (larger than expected as thought I was 8 weeks + 3 days) and heartbeat, plus little movements from baby. But she said there is a bleed at the top of my womb measuring 1cm. She didn't use any terminology like SC, said a tear measuring 1cm...that has completely freaked me out. Tbh she was very cold and unhelpful. Told me to see if spotting persists for 2weeks and if so to call back to come again, or call immediately if it gets worse. But after some Googling by husband and I we think she must have meant a SC but just didn't use the terminology? Anyway, I'm really worried now as she said if it gets bigger there is a risk of miscarriage...and I had a really traumatic miscarriage last year already x
