Hey there.

Has anyone got any recommendations for pregnancy pillows? There is just so much stuff out there it’s overwhelming sometimes... x

I bought Dream Nelli from John Lewis. I'm nearly 36 weeks now and sometimes I regret not going for a more expensive one like BB hug me. I use additional normal pillows too. It depends on your pregnancy too as I had pelvic pain so a pillow has been essential from very early on.

If money is no object go more expensive.

I have the bbhugme and it's wonderful! I used the dreamgenii in my first pregnancy and honestly it's crap in comparison to the bbhugme!

Love my bbhugme! So does my cat Grin

I have a BB hugme too. I used it a lot when I first started getting a bump. Then I had a phase of not needing it too much because I was a bit more used to sleeping on my side with a bump. Now as I get closer to my third trimester I’m using it much more again. I like that it doesn’t take up as much space in the bed as other pillows, I also figure it’ll be much more comfortable than a foam one as we get closer to summer.

I didn’t mind too much about how expensive the pillow was but the covers being between £30-£40 really annoyed me.

Another vote for the BB hugme. It just seems to mould to the position you want to be in. I use it to sit up in bed and read as well, and it looks nicer than the average pregnancy pillow :)

I have PGP so in a lot of pain at night. I have found the best thing is to get two extra pillows I can put where I need. I find it great for side sleep, don’t end up on my back like I used to. Also, I used to fall asleep on my front and found if I put one pillow under my ribs and one under my hips I can sleep on my front comfortably. I also got confused with all the choice out there, think it depends on your sleep position too. Half had terrible reviews and the others were so overpriced!! I find this solution works well and is very flexible.

I looked at the BB one. It’s very expensive though! Going to have to run that one past the other half. My hips are really hurting this morning so will have to get something soon!! X

Do not get a dream genie they’re rubbish and not big enough to actually support your bump in your sleep

Mysleepingangel · 11/02/2021 00:28

Hi.

Think Asda do pregnancy pillow which is good and cheap. I remember getting one when I was uncomfortable sleeping.

It's not expensive either, around £20ish.

boymum1x · 11/02/2021 01:54

I got mine of eBay it's huge 9ft and honestly the Best Buy ever £20 I think I payed or just under with a case included, I have it on sofa in the day and sleep with it every night x

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 11/02/2021 02:18

I have the BB HugMe. Expensive but totally worth it!

FoxtrotSkarloey · 11/02/2021 05:04

I'd get a really long one. I bought a dream genii on a recommendation without really looking into it enough. It's not long enough and was overpriced.

JTB123 · 11/02/2021 08:18

I have this one, 33 weeks and it's been great! You can get the smaller 9ft one also!
