Dull ache in left pelvic area

Hello, I'm totally new to all this and have just downloaded the app in the hope of connecting with some other mums to be.

I'm not sure if I'm being a paranoid first time mum but I have had a dull ache in my left pelvic area since last night, it's not painful but it's definitely present. I've also had light cramping on and off since before I had my first positive result on 21/1. I believe I'm about 6+5 and have my first midwife appointment on Thursday and have booked a private scan for a week today.

I've had no other symptoms besides being really nauseous since Monday, although this eased off a little last night. I've had no bleeding, spotting, funny discharge etc. This dull ache is just worrying me as it's never been consistent for this long before. Should I be worried? I don't know if to call the midwife advice line I've been given as don't want to seem like I'm worrying over nothing. Any help appreciated Smile

I'd say it's most likely to be stretching pains. Some people may say it's too early for that, but not in my experience. If the ache/pain runs along where yourknicker line is then I'd say it's very very likely to be stretching pain.

Call and explain where the pain is and how intense. They may bring you in for a scan to rule out ectopic pregnancy.

Thanks both, I think I'm going to call the advice line even though feel abit silly too, not sure why as they did say call for any concerns! Fingers crossed it's all ok

@AnnaSW1 and that is exactly where it is! Right at the top of my leg

If you move position you should be able to find a way to sit or lie that eases it. It's called round ligament pain

Thank you, have just been googling it
