Lots of movement is this bad

I’m 26+2 weeks and I’ve noticed as I’ve hit 26 weeks my baby has become majorly active. I used to only really be able to feel an odd kick here and there at work and her kick a good amount when I got home at night. But now I feel like I can feel her near enough all the time and she is wiggling and kicking like crazy. I don’t know whether I’m just being paranoid about problems like usual because an active baby is usually a happy baby it’s better than little movement right. I’ve seen a midwife today and she says as long as baby is kicking and wriggling everything is okay and nothing is to be worried about but is too much a bad thing? Did anyone experience their kicks and wriggles become stronger and more often all of a sudden at some point?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I didn’t worry about it being a problem when they were inside, I worried about what they’d be like once they were out. 2 very lively active babies in the womb (needing a doctor to sign off every trace as midwives we’re concerned how lively towards the end) 2 very active, demanding, non-sleeping children. If your midwife isn’t concerned, I wouldn’t be just yet. They’ll develop more of a pattern over the next few weeks and you’ll know what’s normal and what isn’t for your baby. Best of luck xx

@leilathebaby my baby was not really a mover. I Remember one day/ evening she went mad and the movements felt almost quite aggressive Blush phoned the midwives at the hospital and they said increased movement wasn’t something they’d worry about

If you’re worried please call your community midwife or maternity unit.
Usually nothing to be worried about, but change in movement is a good enough reason for a phone call. I’ve got a super active baby and at about 28 weeks he had a day or 2 of going completely mad! I went up to be monitored and all fine, but I think at one point he’d had about 150 movements in 10 minutes.
