What happened to morning sickness 😅 my sickness is always in the evening. I was fine all day and now I'm stuck with my head down the toilet dry heaving trying to vomit . Envy did anyone else have evening sickness

Yes, I had this! It struck every evening from about 5pm, it was awful. The only silver lining I could see was that it didn't massively disrupt my day in the way that morning sickness probably would have?! But still, pretty unpleasant. Hope it eases up soon, good luck!

I pretty much had sickness all day, but being hungry definitely made it worse. I had to eat little and often and never get hungry, so maybe this is the time of day you're hungry?

My sickness only comes at 10 o clock at night. I be fine all day. I am just after being sick. It's awful I swear Confused

Mine was all day long, from late morning to until I went to bed! It was horrible!

Schoolhouse123 · 25/01/2021 22:19

You have my sympathy, just keep focusing on the fact such strong symptoms are a positive sign. I had all day and sometimes night sickness for the whole 9 months both pregnancies. The minute I gave birth it stopped and I craved a cup of tea and some toast.
I found that eating little and often helped but didn't prevent it, neither did sea bands, ginger, eating before I got out of bed....

Another all-day sicker here. I'm jhst grateful that this time around it's stopped at 20 weeks (I'm now 24 weeks) whereas the first time around with my son I had it from 8 weeks right until the end with a few weeks reprieve in the second trimester. It really is grim 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hope yours goes soon OP!

I was sick most of the day but it was always worse late in the afternoon until I finally manage to fall asleep at night.

yoghurtmap · 25/01/2021 22:28

I had bedtime vomiting in my first pregnancy. In first trimester was nauseous all the time and vomited mainly in morning and evening, the nausea cleared in second trimester but the bedtime vomiting continued for the whole pregnancy

eurochick · 25/01/2021 22:30

Yep. I'd race home from work so I wouldn't be pukey on the train. And then spend the evening laying on the sofa groaning while my husband suggested various foods in the hope of coming up with something I could stomach.

Jijithecat · 25/01/2021 22:34

Yes, I had evening sickness with DC2, but morning sickness with DC1.
The positive for me was that evening sickness made working easier and I felt like my colleagues were less likely to notice I was pregnant before I was ready to tell them.

hotcrosswhat · 25/01/2021 22:46

All day and all night here, I was up with it in the middle of the night most nights!! I'm lucky mine went away at the start of the second trimester.

mumtobee22 · 29/01/2021 13:31

Hi all thanks for the comments. Ah it's horrible. Thankfully mine is mostly dry heaving. I'm 12 weeks hopefully it eases soon ...Sad

Hi
I’m 13 weeks and (touch wood) think I’m just about starting to feel better now. I never vomited just lots of retching and feeling queasy. Mine was definitely worse in the evening. I found I felt worse when I was getting tired x

horsey92 · 29/01/2021 22:31

I had it mainly in the morning 6-10 weeks but since then it's now in the evening, usually starts around 6 o'clock 😒
11.5 weeks now, so reallly hoping I don't have to deal with this much longer!!
