Does anyone have any experience of using either of these bedside cribs?

Ideally I’d go into a store and be able to look at them in person but clearly can’t right now. I’m sure I will be able to in the future, but would be really interested in what people thought of them having actually used them.

I have a tv bed that has a base similar to a divan. I’m aware from a bit of research that both can be used with divan beds.

Anything that stands out from one to the other?

I'd be interested in this as well. Also been looking at the snuzpod. I think snuzpod is smaller so won't get as much use, although would fit better in the room - chicco or tutti bambini will be tight! Sounds like the rocking function on chicco/snuz is irrelevant once attached to the bed. Tutti bambini looks like it's easier to use as a travel cot, snuzpod has a removable basket that you can use in other bits of the house and chicco looks like the opening function is easier to operate... but like you I've never seen any of them in person!

Tutti bambini cozzee is amazing and has a position for reflux to

Moominmiss · 20/01/2021 21:40

Yeah @BlueberryPancake21 that’s why I discounted the snuzpod. I want something that’s going to last the longest.

@Mother2princess that’s one of the features I like about the cozee, one of my dc had reflux as a baby and the option to be able to tilt the Moses basket would have helped so much.

I just really want to see both in person and have a proper play and look!

Chicco next 2 me isn't stable. I found it too big too for a newborn, DS looked lost in it.

All of them have reflux tilt (chicco, snuz, tutti bambini). Safety-wise you can put a newborn in a full size cot so long as it has the right kind of mattress - it can't be too big from that perspective. They may not like it though I guess. I'm more concerned by a few comments that the chicco is wobbly - if only we could go and see them! I need to figure out if we can even move the bed enough to create the extra space I need to get a bigger crib to fit. The gap is literally 2cm too small!

The snuzpod has ventilation on the base of the crib which the others don't. They advertise this as a safety feature but I don't know how important it is. I think same as you the smaller size is going to rule it out - there's a history of big babies in my family.

We have the magic. When it's attached to the bed properly it's not wobbly. It does need tightening every now and then but my baby moves a lot so that could contribute as to why. I personally like ours. DD is 7 and a half months and I'd say she still has a couple of months growth left before she's too big for it. She is quite small for her age but I still think an average baby would fit in it until at least 6 months, probably a bit longer.

BlueberryPancake21 · 21/01/2021 16:27

Thanks @Bing765. Assume you haven't had any issues with the sliding panel? That was my only other concern if it was plastic and might break easily.

Bing765 · 21/01/2021 19:31

Nope, none at all. We used to have it up and down when DD was a newborn. We usually have ours down all the time now.
