Hey, just looking for some advice on what is happening with other people.
I am a dental nurse so currently they have taken me out of surgery from the moment I told them I was pregnant which is really good of them.
They have them said when I hit 28 weeks pregnant, that I will be taken away from all patient facing roles, so that includes reception and in house consultations.
My question is - I will be in the phone room with work colleagues who I won’t be able to be 2 metres away from, my other job I’ll be doing is decontaminating instruments as that can be done on my own.
In the phone room, someone will be sat right next to me, we will both be wearing a mask but they could have been in surgery in the morning and then sat next to me in the afternoon with the same scrubs on.
What is everyone else’s work doing? Is this ok for me to continue to work like this?
I’m just worried about working up until 38 weeks with the risk of someone passing to Covid to me at work as I am in a very high risk job and although I won’t be in a patient facing role, the colleagues who will be working within 2 metres of me will be x
